Morwenna was succesfully launched on monday after her 14 month build. She is a 45' Bristol Channel pilot cutter, commisioned from RB boatbuilding. Her new owners will charter her as http://www.traditional-sailing.com/




She was pulled from the shed on tallow covered boards - all 25 tons of her!

Pilot cutter launch date aproaching


With a March launch date aproaching, it's been a busy time on the new pilot cutter, Morwenna.

John has made all the beautiful hatches and Andy fitted the cabin top. Chris and Ben have been fitting out down below, while Mark completes the complicated wiring .

Dennis Platten is making a start on the rigging while Tim has been fitting the ironwork (all made in-house). the mast andboom are solid douglas fir while all the other spars are hollow and were made in Bristol by Noble masts.
